According to the NHS website, it is estimated that by 2030, the number of people with dementia in the UK will be more than one million. According to the Dementia UK website, one in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime.
As built environment professionals we can all play our part to shape and improve the places and spaces around us; helping those with dementia continue to live well.
